Students participated in the first-ever Language Halls program at Bob Jones University during the 2016-2017 academic year.
The following students are among approximately 500 Bob Jones University students named to the President's List for high academic achievement during the Spring 2017 semester. To qualify for the President's List, students must earn a 3.75 or higher grade point average for the semester.
During the March spring break, nine environmental earth science (EES) students toured the state of Arizona to examine its rich geological heritage. The group hiked into the Grand Canyon, studied the colorful stratigraphy of Sedona, climbed cinder cone volcanoes and explored the stunning geology and desert ecosystems of the Sonoran Desert.
Several BJU students participated this summer in the Spanish Study Abroad Program hosted by the University May 19 - June 18.

Kent State continues strong university enrollment by welcoming a record-setting freshman class, in terms of size, diversity, and quality based on GPA. These academically motivated freshmen have an average GPA of 3.4 and an average ACT score of above 23.

Incoming members of the freshman class at Bob Jones University participated in summer orientation June 28-29. Students and their parents attended informational sessions about the BJU experience, asked questions regarding academics, financial aid and student life and became familiar with the campus. Students were also able to receive academic and career counsel from faculty and register for their fall classes.
Bob Jones University recently announced the latest recipients of the BJU Academic Excellence and Leadership Award. The Academic Excellence and Leadership Award recognizes student leaders who achieve an ACT score above 25 before entering college and maintain a 3.2 GPA during their college years. The award provides up to $1,500 per year, for a maximum of $6,000 over eight semesters.
